Humble Pranams to Poojya Guru Dev Swami Chinmayanandaji !

In 1982 some worshipers of Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayandaji assembled at Kattakada and deiced to start a Mission Center at Kattakada . They invited the Trustees of Chinmaya Mission, Thiruvananthapuram region to attend a meeting at Kattakada Dr. A.S. Menon ( President & Director) Smt. Omana Kunjamma (Member of the Trustee), Sri. R.V. Tampi ( Member of trustee & Deputy Director) Participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided over Dr. A.S. Menon . He was requested to start an English Medium School under the management of Chinmaya Mission. The Chinmaya Vidyalaya - Kattakada was started in 1983 in a rented building near Christian College, Kattakada., from L.K.G. to Std.II with 85 Students.
